As a two tier SCIO charity, it is important that we are able to demonstrate to the Scottish charities regulator that we represent the community that we aim to benefit. To do this we must have a membership base with a minimum of 20 individuals or organisations. These members must be from the Aberdeen City and Shire region and have an interest in mountain biking, snowsports and/or similar adventure sports activities.
Membership is £10 per year.
Benefits of Membership
As a member, you will be able to help steer the future direction of Gravitate North East. You will have voting rights at our AGM and will be able to positively contribute to the development of the most exciting adventure sports project that Aberdeenshire has ever seen. In addition to this, you will receive reduced rates on Gravitate North East branded merchandise and receive discounts to many adventure sports shops and facilities throughout the local area.
As a member, it is an expectation that you attend AGM’s and positively contribute to the overall success of the organisation. Membership isn’t just about making a financial donation, membership means becoming an integral part of a ground-breaking project that will help shape the future of Aberdeenshire’s adventure sports landscape, forever.
If for any reason your circumstances change and you feel unable to fulfil your duties as a member, simply get in touch with the Gravitate committee and we can arrange to have your membership dissolved. However please note that membership fees are non refundable.
