This month we launched our 2020 fundraising campaign. For us to achieve everything we want to next year and get the project construction ready, we’re need to raise £150,000. The money will be used to fund project management costs, community engagement, legal costs for lease negotiations, the planning study coordination and delivery, a community consultation and the planning application fees.

We aim to raise a large chunk of that total target by teaming up with investors. To do this we have set up 3 investment packages; they are branded as Carbon Fiber (£10,000), Polished Titanium (£5,000) and Raw Alloy (£1000). The packages are limited in number and come with some great benefits for the investor.

We first announced these packages to our supporters via our autumn newsletter. Within a day of the announcement, eGuide Scotland got in touch, keen to find out more. Fast forward a couple of days and they had signed up as our very first Polished Titanium Investor!

Tony Yule, owner of eGuide Scotland said: “This investment is the latest in a history of financial support which I have committed to in a bid to help various local enterprises reach the goal of making Aberdeenshire the next go to destination for mountain biking adventures in the UK; with support also being given to Aberdeentshire Trail Association and Tarland Trails.  By supporting such worthwhile ventures eGuidescotland believe that the fabric of our community together with our personal and collective well-being can be enriched and improved, making for a happier and better place for us all to live”.

This initial investment gets our fundraising campaign off to a great start and we’re looking forward to collaborating with eGuide throughout 2020. We are hoping that their investment will pave the way for further investors to come forward in the coming months.
